11 Days Til

I FINALLY HAVE MY PASSPORT AND BRAND NEW VISAAAAAA!!! True excitement. Now there is only a few days in between myself and the country whose language I have been learning for 10 months.

I'm worried about what to pack. Will I need this, will I have space for that, do I need more of this than I already have; it's quite a task to try to pack for 8 weeks in a different country.

I am also trying to get ready for fall semester. I have things to pay for, things to tell my Dad to check on while I'm gone. Furniture I have to ask Dad to take for the apartment.

I hope that Beijing is everything I've been told. I hope the people on this trip with me are open-minded individuals. And I hope that everyone makes it back in one piece.

My Current Main Concerns:

1. Packing

2. Getting all the stuff I leave at home ready to move into the apartment when I get back.

3. Making a list of things I still need to get from the store (for both China and apartment).

4. Spending time with my family and friends before I leave.

Hopefully all of these things will be accomplished. We shall see.
